Bartlett, Pringle & Wolf, LLP is pleased to announce that John Britton, CPA and Rosemary Schmoller, CPA have been named among the 2024 Who’s Who in Professional Services by the Pacific Coast Business Times.
John Britton, CPA | Audit Partner
John Britton, CPA joined Bartlett, Pringle & Wolf, LLP in 1991. John works with a highly diverse client mix, including both private for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, with an emphasis in the health care industry.
John is the partner in charge of BPW’s Audit and Accounting Department. He enjoys working with clients at their places of business and finds the people side of audit work most rewarding. John strongly believes in the benefits of ongoing financial training and devotes considerable energy to training and coaching both clients and BPW staff in order to foster continuing improvements in processes and operations.
John completed his undergraduate work at University of California, Santa Barbara in Business Economics with an emphasis in Accounting. A third-generation Santa Barbara native, John is an active community participant, serving as a member of the Executive Committee of the Elings Park Foundation and the Treasurer of the Santa Barbara Police Foundation.
Rosemary Schmoller, CPA | Audit Manager
Rose Schmoller, CPA joined Bartlett, Pringle, & Wolf, LLP in 2017 and is a manager in the audit department. Rose brings over 15 years of experience in both external and internal audit roles. Rose particularly enjoys working with businesses to strengthen their internal control framework and identify opportunities for process improvement. Rose received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Prior to joining BPW, Rose spent over a decade working as a corporate internal audit manager for a global media & entertainment company in Century City. Her experience includes the performance of annual risk assessments, evaluation of the design and effectiveness of internal controls, and ensuring compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements. Prior to then, Rose held a number of accounting positions at a public accounting firm in Santa Monica, a digital advertising company in Marina Del Rey, and an investment banking firm in Ventura.
Rose serves as the Treasurer for The Marjorie Luke Theater and is a member of the National Charity League.
