Longtime Partner and Santa Barbara Native to Lead Firm’s Next Chapter of Growth and Impact

Bartlett, Pringle & Wolf, LLP (BPW), a leading accounting and consulting firm serving Santa Barbara and the Central Coast for more than 78 years, announced today that John Britton has been appointed Managing Partner, effective January 1, 2026.

Britton brings more than 30 years of experience at BPW and succeeds Eileen Sheridan in the role. A third-generation Santa Barbara native, he joined the firm in 1991 and has built a reputation for exceptional client service, hands-on leadership, and a strong commitment to developing people and organizational excellence. Britton has worked closely with firm leadership in preparation for the role and has been actively involved in advancing BPW’s strategic initiatives.

Britton is known for his people-centered approach to audit and advisory work, emphasizing strong relationships, deep understanding of clients’ operations, and practical solutions tailored to real-world challenges. As Managing Partner, Britton will focus on executing the firm’s long-term strategic plan, investing in talent development, and expanding services to meet the evolving needs of clients throughout the Central Coast and beyond.

Britton holds a degree in Business Economics with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He currently serves on the boards of Elings Park and the Santa Barbara Police Foundation.
