BPW Helps Spread Holiday Cheer at Junior League’s Festival of Trees

Santa Barbara, CA – BPW sponsored a Christmas tree at the first annual Festival of Trees to support the Junior League’s efforts to improve youth literacy in Santa Barbara. It was a fun and festive evening trimming the tree with ornaments, snow and tickets to the North Pole.

Our theme “Do You Believe…” incorporated elements from the Polar Express to infuse the spirit of Christmas to all visitors of the weekend-long festivities. A big thank you to Director Robert Zemeckis, local film legend, for donating an autographed copy of the Polar Express.

BPW’s tree and gifts were raffled off and won by Dale Scrace, who donated the tree to Cottage’s Children’s Hospital to spread the spirit of the season and add joy and cheer to the lives of others.
